Sales is NOT a Dirty Word

If I surveyed 100 business owners and asked them what they felt their biggest challenge was in their business, my bet is that 95% of them would say sales.

And I get that. After all, the statistics gathered by the SBA and IRS tell the story that roughly 90% of the 23 million non-employer firms in the country are making less than $50,000 a year in gross receipts.

Translation: They can’t sell.

And, it’s not entirely their fault. After all, most non-employers became such out of necessity or out of a love for something someone told them people would pay for. Most lack business acumen and since nothing happens until somebody sells something, well, I think you get my point.
